Over 7,000 descended on Kilbeggan Raceoourse on Friday July 16th for the Gigginstown Midlands National Day and Khan Best Dressed Competition. Sponsored by Khan and with a prize worth €2,500, the 'Best Dressed' was awarded to Emily Kennedy (27), an events manager from Galway. This year the KHAN Best Dressed was judged by Xposé regular, Image Magazine fashion contributor & Sunday Independent Beauty Editor Triona McCarthy, top Irish Designer Rachel Mackay and Head of News from Midlands 103, Clara Walsh. Wearing a dress from 'Wear it Again' accessorised with hat from House of Fraser, shoes from Jimmy Choo and a Louis Vuitton purse, Emily was selected as one of 15 finalists at the Jacob's Creek Sparkling Rose reception, before she was announced winner. The runners up on in the Khan Best Dressed were Mary Scully from Mullingar and Liz Maher from Carlow.
